If you are searching for body shop customer service positions near Los Angeles and Hawthorne, apply to become an Eli’s customer service representative. Learn more today!
As mentioned above, a collision estimator acts as a liaison and is often the first point of contact when a customer visits a body shop. Estimators inspect the vehicle and discuss the damage with the customer to determine which damage was a result of the collision and which damage was done prior to the collision.
Collision estimators then collect insurance estimates after evaluating the vehicle. They will then meet with the customer to discuss estimates for repair and labor costs. Estimators place work orders regarding parts replacements and repairs and keep the customer informed throughout the repair process. When a repair is complete, an estimator then completes the final paperwork with the customer.
